5. Building a Brand Image on a budget

   A brand image doesn’t have to be "expensive" to be effective. It needs to be consistent, authentic, and frequent. 1. Consistent (Consistency is key. Ensure it is representative across all customer touch points - from your logo to how you answer the phone, to email signature lines, to your front lobby, etc.) 2. Authentic (It has to be genuine and meaningful to your customers. You must be credible and real. Represent what you say you stand for.) 3. Frequent (Make sure you reinforce your brand often and through as many channels as possible. Use contemporary tools like social media in addition to traditional "advertising". Appropriate and selective use of social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, let you share your brand "voice" in new and fresh and very inexpensive ways.)
